Week 2 & 3!

Hey everyone!!

 

Last P-Day was crazy busy so I didn't have time to send an email.  Sorry if this one is a little long:)  

I love the MTC!!  It is literally incredible, there is such a special spirit here and it's going to be hard to leave next week.  After my parents dropped me off on Wednesday I got to my dorm and got to meet my cute comp Sister Treese in person!!  She is my favourite person ever and I am stoked to serve in Zimbabwe with her!  We're already best friends. We then got to meet our district and teachers in person ahhhh!!  They are some of the most Christ-like people I know and We have all become best friends.  I've learned so much from them and they are all incredible missionaries all ready.  The rest of our week was filled with Studies, classes, and devotionals.  I am learning so much everyday and am loving every minute here.  

A little bullet point list of last week's highlights:

-Sister Treese and I became STL's!!

-I SAW SOUER ERICKSON FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE BELIZE!!!  (my goodness tahiti is blessed)

-Played the piano in church

-Helping Others (Practice teaching appointments)

-Meeting so many new people

-Quoting the First vision in a Helping Others appointment for the first time and feeling the Spirit so strongly

-Every minute that I get to spend with my cute District

-Going to the Temple twice!!

 

This week was also incredible!!  We had classes and our studies and devotionals again.  One of our devotionals was given by Bishop L Todd Budge and it was so good!!  He talked a lot about faith and how important it is in missionary work.

Tuesday was crazyyyyyy.  I got temporarily reassigned to the Canada Montreal Mission on a visa wait and started to get really excited about it after I had come to terms with it, and then a few days later Missionary Travel tells me that I am getting reassigned again to somewhere in the states this time.  So stay tuned, any minute now I'll be receiving that assignment and then next week's email will be coming from that re re assignment:)  This has been a huge trial of faith this past week with all the new assignments, but I know without a doubt that God is aware of all of His children, and that His plan is perfect, and that He knows where I need to be for the next little while before I can get to Zimbabwe.  So in the meantime Sister Treese will be killing it in her temp reassignment in the PORTLAND OREGON MISSION WAHOOO!!  And I'll be serving to the best of my abilities wherever the lord needs me to go:)  Highlights from this week:

-Welcoming all the new missionaries on Wednesday

-Helping Others appointments

-The brief moment where Sister Larsen and I thought we were going to Montreal together:)

-Comp study with Sister Treese

-Evening convos with all the Sisters
