Hello everyone!! This week wasn't super eventful other than transfers!!  Lots and lots has changed in the ZHM this transfer. Thursday afternoon in the area I got a phone call from President Judd.  He asked me if I would be a trainer for a new sister coming in from the MTC.  She's from Madagascar and will be the first sister from her country to serve in Zimbabwe!  So I'm staying here in Chikanga to train this transfer, and saying I am terrified would be an understatement.  When Sister Judd called me a few days later she said "take all the best things from Layton, Canada, and Zimbabwe."  So I'll try to do that. Hello everyone!! This was probably the craziest week of my mission so far.  It all started Monday night when our entire zone abandoned my flat at the Mutare Town Chapel and we ended up having to walk downtown in the dark and take a combie back to Chikanga.  Combie's are the public transportation here.  Mid sized vans that they absolutely pack people into and drive like crazy.  Sister Treese and I were slightly terrified and so were our Zimbabwean companions which didn't help....but we made it home alive!!   Tuesday after DC and the area we went to the town Chapel to see President and Sister Judd and the Assistants!!  Wow, going from seeing them everyday to not seeing them for over a month was crazy.  While my companion and I were waiting for our interviews we taught a mix of lesson 4 and 5 to the APs and it went so well!!  Interviews were incredible,  and then all the sisters had a combined comp study with Sister Judd.  After comp s...

Hey everyone! Wow it has been a minute since I've sent one of these.  Pdays around here have been crazy.  I know they're supposed to be a day of rest, but after shopping, handwashing laundry, and 3 hours of pros, there isn't a lot of day left haha.  But life in Zimbabwe is good!!  I'll just share a few highlights so that this email isn't too long:)   Last week my companion and I were doing what we thought was a less active visit.  We went to Brother Mugebe's house and he pulled out his Book of Mormon and asked to show us his favourite scripture.  He started reading a verse from Jacob 5 and then talked about it with us.  Throughout the lesson my companion and I kept feeling like something wasn't right.  This  guy seems like an active member but there were some big doctrinal points that he didn't know.  So I ended up saying "Brother Mugebe, are you a member?"  And he said "I'm a member of your church, I'm just not baptised!"...
