Week 54- Let's Play A Game Called "How Many Programs Can The ULM Pilot At Once"

Image
Hellooooooo everyone!!  And to answer your question,  I don't know.  But right now we are at at least 3 soooooo yeah. On Wednesday our mission had a Gospel Scholarship with the Director of Marketing for the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square!!  And he gave us all cards that have a qr code on the back to give to our members.  Then they can give it to their friends.  When they scan the QR code it will take then to a playlist with options to find our churches website and also meet with the missionaries!!  Love•Share•Invite can be as simple as "hey, here's some music that helps me feel really good.  Do you want to try it out?" I have LOVED being able to incorporate more music into missionary work, and we've had a lot of success so far. Thursday we had Zone Conference and IVE MISSED IT SO MUCH!!!  It was incredible. We talked about what it means to Abide in Christ.  President and Sister Johnson gave incredible teachings and there have bee...

It's been a crazy last 2 weeks in the ULM •We had an elder pass away which was so hard.  A homie from Canada.  We were able to hold a memorial service for him with the entire mission and it was amazing. It brought me so much peace, and I just know he's doing amazing things to gather Israel on the other side of the veil. •I went on a few exchanges  •we had transfers and the name of this transfer is "Abide in Me." Could not be more perfect for the ULM at this time. • I'm staying in Layton for another transfer but this time I get to cover the whole stake!!!   • MY NEW COMPA IS SISTER WRIGHT!!!  from roommates to companions.  I'm so stoked.  It's already been the best first week and I could not be more excited for the transfer!! •I hit my new one year on the mission this past week!! • today for Pday President invited all the sisters to go out to a ranch in Morgan and do service.  It was so fun!!  I love being in this small mission because ev...

Week 51 :))

Hola Shamwari's haha, What a wild week.  We started off strong by getting to know some new members in a part of our area we haven't spent much time in.  We knocked on this members door and she was SO ANTI.  I've never gotten bashed so hard.  I can't even repeat the stuff she said.  That was special lol.  It rattled us for a bit but the next day we kept up with the grind and had 16 lessons sooooo we're good:))   I seriously love District Councils in this mission. They are always so spiritual and I always come mega prepared to recieve some personal revelation.  This week we had Zone Council and President and Sister Tingy from the mission presidency spoke to us on the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the APs taught on how to have more effective comp studies.  It was so good. I was able to have 2 interviews with President Johnson.  One was the normal transfer interview and the other was because I left my temple recommend in Canada.  W...

Week 50- Too Many Good Things

Image
Heyyyyy everyone!!! This last week started off with a bang!!  On Monday a bunch of the Sisters went to the Old Testament Tabernacle in Salt Lake with President and Sister Johnson. It was amazing. Last year when I was serving here, learning about it and being able to give tours was probably the most impactful thing on my mission.  So I was so stoked to go back.  We also had a zone activity where we went out to Morgan. Such a good day. My companion introduced me to an edible cookie dough place and let's just say it was dangerous.  So good literally what. Every Wednesday we have Gospel Scholarship which is where we get to hear from someone for an hour and they teach us on a certain topic.  This past Wednesday it was by our very own President Johnson which meant that the ENTIRE MISSION  got to go in person at the mission office, so that was awesome.  We focused on the talk "the everlasting covenant " by President Nelson.  And then we were there for an...
