Week 51 :))

Hola Shamwari's haha,

What a wild week.  We started off strong by getting to know some new members in a part of our area we haven't spent much time in.  We knocked on this members door and she was SO ANTI.  I've never gotten bashed so hard.  I can't even repeat the stuff she said.  That was special lol.  It rattled us for a bit but the next day we kept up with the grind and had 16 lessons sooooo we're good:))

I seriously love District Councils in this mission. They are always so spiritual and I always come mega prepared to recieve some personal revelation.  This week we had Zone Council and President and Sister Tingy from the mission presidency spoke to us on the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the APs taught on how to have more effective comp studies.  It was so good.

I was able to have 2 interviews with President Johnson.  One was the normal transfer interview and the other was because I left my temple recommend in Canada.  Whoops... but it was crazy, we literally sat down and he rattled off all the interview questions from memory so fast.  I was shook haha.  Also at one point he asked me if I had an abandon child and I can't even remember the context hahaha.  Sorry not sorry that I have the best mission Presidents.

We had breakfast the other day at my comps parents house with a girl going to the Zim Harare mission in September so that was cool.

We had stake conference with Elder Bonham of the 70 and it was SO good.  When we were walking to the chapel for the Saturday session we passed him and his wife and he came up to us and introduced himself.  We were chatting and I had no idea who they were so I asked their names, and he said "don't worry, you'll find out.  I'm presiding." Uhhhhhh and then they had us sit in the front row so they could recognize us and he winked at me......awkward hahaha.  Time to memorize every general authorities name and face.

Something that stood out to me in my studies this week was the importance of allowing God to prevail in our lives.  He'll always try, but if we don't allow Him to, it's not going to happen.  We are always expected to put in work!!

I love being a missionary. I never want it to end!!!
