Week 9 And Off To ZIMBABWE
Hi everyone!!
This was the best week but also my last week in the ULM:(
There were so many miracles and the spirit was so strong. I'm writing this so late so I don't have time to write as much as I would've liked to, but I'll share two of my favourite experiences from this past week!
On Tuesday we had a bit of extra time before dinner so we decided to go walk around a park. We got there and there were only 3 people there, and two of them were in the relief society in one of our wards. So we talked to them for a bit and then changed the direction we were walking to hopefully cross paths with the only other person there. We ended up meeting Kendrick who is an inactive RM who has some bad habits that he's working on breaking. We had a really heartfelt conversation that ended up with most of us in tears and us inviting him to attend church on Sunday. It was so amazing!
Sister Gray and I got the most incredible opportunity to serve in the life size Old Testament Tabernacle that I've talked a little bit about. We got to serve in the Holy of Hollies which is the equivalent of the Celestial Room in our temples. It was the most incredible experience to be able to teach and bear testimony on it.
I fly out to Zimbabwe on Wednesday and hope I'll be able to write a weekly next week but I'm honestly not sure how that's all going to work from here on out.
But I love you all so much!! President Nelson has told us to "seek and expect miracles." I can testify to you that there are always miracles. It doesn't mean they're always going to be big. But I promise you that if you take the time to notice the hand of the Lord in your life each day that you will see miracles.
Love you all so so much!
