Week 27- Transfers And Iwe's
Hello my little Iwe's!!
Today is transfer day!! Crazy that this will be my fifth transfer. And guess what? They have taken my child and sent her to Harare while I stay here in Mutare for my third transfer. 6 comps in 6 months ahh. My new companion is Sister Mpofu from Bulawayo Zimbabwe. We actually met each other a few times when I was serving in Harare my first transfer, so it was a fun reunion and I'm looking forward to this upcoming transfer with her.
Last week we were having a lesson with my favourite person EVER! Her name is Sister Kelly and we've been teaching her ever since I've been here in Mutare. Sister Msipha and I found her my first week here and she's just the best. I was able to put her on date and I'm so grateful I'll get to be here for her baptism!
We ran out of meat in our house so Sister Chikwenga arranged for someone to bring us a live chicken which she then proceeded to slaughter. I'm still not sure how I feel about it...
We had our first ZHM Sisters devotional!
We said goodbye to our powerful Zone Leader Elder Kakaire and some of us may have shed a few tears. He will be missed. Our new Zone Leader is Elder Nyosi who I got to serve with my first transfer in Zim, so I'm so excited for that! And Sister Treese and I are together for yet another transfer. At this point they might as well just keep us together for our entire mission haha.
As I was reading through the Isaiah chapters in 2 Nephi this week with our mission challenge, I was reminded how merciful our Heavenly Father is. No matter what happens, no matter how far off the path we stray or how lost we think we are, "his arm is outstretched still."
I love you all but more importantly your Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ love you!
