Week 47- MLC
Hello everyone!
This was a crazy week, but I'll keep it short.
Sisters Night- all the STLs got together on Tuesday night for dinner and a devotional at the mission home. We had breakfast for dinner and I had no idea how much I missed waffles and whipped cream! We had such a good devotional about our missions orientation book and how we can best serve and help our sisters. Then we got to spend the night at the mission home!
MLC- Wednesday morning the elders arrived and we all got together to do a service project before starting MLC. It was the best way to start the day. At MLC President Judd talked a lot about paradigms- How we view the world and the circumstances we face. It taught me so much about how important my mindset is when it comes to everything about this work. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to constantly be improving myself and to be taught by the BEST leaders.
On Friday we STARTED A NEW MISSION WIDE BOOK OF MORMON CHALLENGE!!! This time around we are marking all the christ-like attributes of anyone on the BoM and all the names of Christ. It was SO sad when we finished the last one and so I am so grateful that we are able to do it again. Everyone pray that I'll be able to keep up with the challenge and my BoM goal I've set for myself haha.
Spiritual thought: this week while I was studying the Book of Mormon I was reading about when Jesus Christ was baptised. I feel like my entire life I just thought he did it to set a good example. And he did, but in reality HE wouldn't be able to return and live in the Celestial Kingdom without performing that ordinance. That gave me a whole new view on the importance of baptism.
I love you all!
